Excuse me, but we're not savages.

Let me dispel a myth. A lot of people in the western countries believe that India is a poor, backward country where people eat rats, after worshipping them. It's not true. India is not a backward country. And I have proof. I have this photograph that came in the paper today. It's pretty self explanatory, there isn't much that I can add. Still, let me make the obvious more obvious. As you can see, the scooter that the three gentlemen are riding on is a state of the art Honda, with tuff-up tires that are puncture-resistant, variomatic transmition on a lean burn 4 stroke cutting-edge motor, with the latest technology from the Honda stable. In the background, you can see a Suzuki, it's "jelly-bean" design set new standards in the micro car segment, and is a craze even in super developed countries like Japan. And the fact that the person riding the bike is wearing a construction helmet is proof that Indians are building huge super structures and not living in huts.

It's been proved. So there!
